Creating a Mailmerge

 
To create a new Mailmerge click the button next to the desired format:

Create Postal Mailmerge

 
To send a letter to a patient or group of patients press the button next to the Address field.
 
 
 

Merge to Current Record

Create a single merge for the selected patient.
 

Merge to Filter

Create a mailmerge for all patients in the current filter.
 

Create new Mail Merge

Create a new mailmerge template based on the master template.
 

Edit Selected Mailmerge Template

Edit the currently selected template.
 

Copy Selected Mailmerge Template

Create a new mailmerge template based on the currently selected template.
 
When merging to multiple records, create individual pages for each separate patient by selecting No to the following question:

Edit the Master Template

The master template is used as the base for all new document templates. When setting up the system spend some time perfecting the master template as this will save time later on. The Microsoft Office website  https://support.office.com/en-GB/word has help and advice on using Microsoft Word.

Create SMS Mailmerge

 

PearlPlus has the ability to send SMS messages to mobile numbers. To do this press the

button by the Mobile field. Create, edit and send messages with the same controls as above.
 
 

Sending sms messages requires an internet connection and SMS credits. You can check your credits via

Setup SMS Settings

and add more by contacting us.

Check SMS History

Use the button to view all SMS messages sent between the selected dates.

Create Email Mailmerge


Similarly to letters and SMS messages, create an Email mailmerge by pressing the button (requires Microsoft Office Outlook).
 
 
Attachments can be added to the template, or added before sending.
